Dual Education for Innovation & Self Development

In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared 15 July as the annual World Youth Skills Day, to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with
skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.

That precisely is in the mind of those partners having constituted the Harare International Drone School. In contrast, they are not focused on a particular day but on
the continuous development of knowledge and sustainable future-oriented solutions.

Drone pilot, drone maintenance engineers, and operators are future-oriented professions demanding new skills. Managing drone-related businesses in a completely new industry is challenging and exciting at the same time.
First movers are still finding an open field welcoming new entrants. Available macro-fields of vocational training programmes and/or higher education consist of
• Drone Pilot
• Unmanned Aerial Systems
• Unmanned Ground Systems
• Drone Engineering & Applications
• And many more

Such education supports graduates and businesses which are dependent on skilled staff and create an inviting field for innovation-driven entrepreneurs. Diverse perspectives exist, too. A good number of pathways of specialization are not even discovered yet, which also makes an essential aspect of the work of the Harare International Drone School: R & D.

Becoming a first mover in a dynamic field full of innovation allows to self-develop and to contribute to national and international developments of the future.
